Lifestyle
It’s important that the commitment to quality and sustainability continues in the way that a space is occupied as well as built. This is why we consider the lifestyle of each project.
Lifestyle can include how the space is used, what’s inside, and where things come from.
For example…
Can the project provide space for a home office to suit a new work-from-home lifestyle?
Is there a need for new furniture and joinery to make the space work as well as it can?
Is it important that new artworks and objects come from a local maker?
(Note: this ‘for example’ bit can be done as an annotated diagram next to the intro text, similar to the furniture one, with an exploded axo and the questions pointing to a garden studio (1) joinery/furniture (2), and a print on the wall (3)).
Whilst the extension.co offers off-plan buying, each space can be bespoke to suit your lifestyle. We work with each client to make sure the project provides the space needed, whether that’s a new home office, kitchen, or living space. Speak to us (link to contact page) about what the project needs to deliver and we can help select the right plan for you.
We also make furniture and joinery to bring out the best of a space. Check out our furniture (links below to furniture) to find out more.
It’s important to think about where the things that fill our homes come from. We work with local artists and makers to help create a link to finding unique pieces to finish a project with. We hope this helps build a sense of community and encourage buying locally. Check out our growing list of makers (link) that offer a range of prints, ceramics, artworks and more.
Make it stand out.

Furniture & Joinery
We want to bridge the gap between quality and affordability so that all homes can be filled with things people are proud of.
We do this is by combining modern methods of manufacturing with traditional craft and design to create simple and unique pieces of furniture. We also can help develop pieces of fixed joinery, such as storage walls, to deliver the most from a space.
We use local, renewable and recycled materials which are customisable and bespoke, and our method of design aims to get rid of those wasteful extra fittings and fixtures altogether.
Check out our shop (link) to see our range of furniture. Joinery solutions can be developed as part of the design process for the main project build. Contact us (link) for more information.
(OPPOSITE: annotated diagram of furniture explaining the above. Pointing to materials, customisable elements, joints that remove need for extra fittings. Then selection of furniture listed the same way as the extensions.)
(Note: thefurniture.company is available. Do we get this and run in concurrently with theextension.company?) - Potentially domain with redirect. Two website down the line once proof of concept
